Sculptra is an amazing part of Galderma‘s aesthetic line having several versatile uses. It is most known for recreating lateral face structure since it’s the best product to mimic the bone structure, which is what we lose as we age. A little-known secret is that it can also be used to treat the neck, décolleté, and glutes.
Contrary to popular belief, Sculptra is not a filler. It is a collagen stimulator. When injected into the face or other areas of the body it slowly stimulates large amounts of collagen to help fill areas with extensive volume loss. Not only does it build collagen at a pace slow enough to have a more natural gradual improvement, but it’s also very long-lasting. Sculptra lasts up to 3-5 years. Galderma, the company that created Sculptra, recommends one vial per decade of life for treatment of the temples, cheeks, and jawline. Here at Couture Med Spa, we clinically see the best results for most clients who, on average, use one vial per treatment for a series of three treatments spaced six weeks apart. It is also recommended to maintain your aesthetic improvement by returning for one vial of Sculptra per year, instead of waiting 3 to 5 years to return to baseline.
Sculptra can also help the appearance of the neck and décolleté by conditioning your skin. This gives a more beautiful, smooth appearance as it supports, tightens, and lifts the skin. We recommend 1 vial per treatment every 6 weeks for a total of two treatments, on average.
