Fractional Laser Pre & Post Treatment Care

• Redness & swelling immediately post treatment for 24-48 hours.
• Mild redness/pinkness can last for several days.
• Rough skin texture & mild itching during healing is expected.

• Ice as needed for discomfort for first 24 hours (20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.)
• Only water & Couture Med Spa Hyaluronic Serum can be applied for first 24 hours.

• Avoid direct sun for 72 hours.
• No makeup for 24 hours.
• No aggressive exfoliation or anti-aging skin care for 5-7 days (retinol, glycolic, or salicylic acid.)
• No excessive sweating/exercising for 24-48 hours post treatment.

Fractional laser treatments can be done 4 weeks apart in the same area.

Couture Med Spa offers a Non-ablative Fractional laser that is used to retexturize/resurface the skin, boost collagen production, tighten the skin and shrink pore size. The fractional laser penetrates to the deep dermal layer of the skin to cause inflammation which in return helps promote collagen production. With the inflammation process occurring from the laser, clients will feel a mild sunburn sensation and have some slight redness and possible swelling to the treatment area that will generally diminish within a few hours. Clients will not have any significant peeling or downtime from this laser treatment. Post treatment recommendations include avoiding excessive sweating or use of makeup for the first 24 hours, as well as avoiding any harsh products for 5-7 days after treatment.
