Are you ready to cut back on those pesky forehead wrinkles? Take away years in just 2 weeks with Botox treatments.
With this simple 5-minute procedure, facial lines can be erased just like that. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a neurotoxin that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. It is FDA approved to last 3-4 months, though results may vary per person. The treatment itself only takes a few minutes and is almost painless.
Of course, we don’t inject babies! Baby Botox is a term used when smaller amounts of Botox is used to help prevent deep forehead lines and wrinkles that can occur after years of repetitive movements. While some may need more units depending on muscle movements, Baby Botox is a great way to start preventing those lines before they even start.
A highly trained nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant will consult with you to speak about your goals for Botox and answer any questions you may have about the procedure. Using aseptic technique, we use ice to help numb the area right before injections.
After the injections, the aftercare is simply not laying down flat for 4 hours and not working out for 8 hours. Some may have little red bumps at the injection sites for a few minutes after treatment, but they should go away within 15-30 minutes. Injections usually take around 5 minutes with no downtime afterwards. A full two weeks is needed to see maximum potential as the Botox needs time to integrate and work into the muscles.
For most people, Botox lasts 3-4 months. We would suggest getting regular injections to prevent lines and maintain a wrinkle-free face. Length between treatments varies person to person. Call today for your consultation!
