It’s finally summer and we all know what the means. Long, hot summer days, weekends at the beach or in the pool and application after re-application of sunscreen. This is the season where we spend most of our time outdoors enjoying the sun, but we must take our skin into consideration. The sun provides our bodies with amazing benefits such as increasing our vitamin d and endorphins; however, the sun can also leave our skin with hyperpigmentation, dehydration (which causes fine lines and wrinkles) and can even lead to cancer. The right skincare products are a crucial part of keeping our skin healthy and protected all summer long. Couture Med Spa has created a summer skincare bundle that combines three of our best skincare products to make summer fun in the sun safe for everyone.

The first product in our Summer Skincare Bundle is our Couture Med Spa Vitamin C Serum. This serum is 20% ascorbic acid and is formulated to be gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. Vitamin C plays an important role in protecting our skin from free radical damage, suppressing excess melanin production, and brightening the skin for the healthy summer glow.

Next, is our Obagi Daily Hydro-Drops which will keep your skin plump and hydrated all day long. These drops are formulated with Vitamin B3 which helps to reduce redness (great for post sun exposure), boost hydration and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Daily Hydro-Drops also contain Abyssinian and Hibiscus oil. Abyssinian oil helps to reduce inflammation and anti-fungal, it helps to balance oil production and is an easily absorbed oil hydrator. Hibiscus oil accelerated the wound healing process. It is rich is AHA’s to eliminate dead skin cells and helps to prevent acne.

Last, but never least, is our Couture Ultimatte Sunshield. This sunscreen is a tinted physical sunscreen that contains 20.5% Zinc Oxide. Zinc Oxide is a must if you want to protect your skin from both UVA and UVB sun rays. This lightweight, non-greasy formula is perfect for all skin types and is non-comedogenic. It also contains green tea polyphenols which are anti-bacterial and Caprylic Triglycerides which condition and hydrate the skin. This is a mattifying sunscreen so no more greasy, shiny look throughout the day and it can even be worn flawlessly under makeup. Protect your skin by applying sunscreen 15 minutes prior to sun exposure and make sure to re-apply every two hours.
