Start Small, Glow Big

It’s now 2023 and we are all about doing bigger and better things here at Couture Med Spa for the “New Year, New You.” We are now offering an FDA-approved treatment that will further enhance your inner beauty. SkinPen Precision microneedling is a safe and simple treatment with little downtime that can rejuvenate the skin, helping to treat acne scars, hyperpigmentation, as well as fine lines and wrinkles and overall skin texture. As we age, the skin’s collagen and elastin fibers break down and cause wrinkles in the skin. Regenerating the collagen and elastin in the skin can help give a more youthful appearance. The SkinPen Precision treatment is noninflammatory wound healing that does not use heat, which is ideal for clients who have melasma or other skin conditions that can be triggered by heat.  Clinical studies showed that 85 percent of clients were satisfied with their SkinPen Precision treatment and 90 percent of clients recommended treatment to friends and family (Crown Aesthetics). Come along with me as I share my first SkinPen Precision experience and, let me just say, I am obsessed!

Before my first SkinPen Precision treatment, I stopped using any harsh products on my face such as my retinol 24 hours before the treatment. When I came in for my treatment, a topical lidocaine numbing cream was applied to my face to make the treatment more comfortable. During the treatment the SkinPen Precision device made millions of controlled microchannels into the skin to elicit the body’s natural wound healing process. The process creates new collagen and elastin, which gives your skin a younger, firmer, and glowing appearance. The treatment itself was nearly painless and following my treatment there was just some slightly red pigmentation on the face like a mild sunburn. I loved how quickly I could notice my skin changing after the treatment, with my skin feeling so tight and smooth. I was given what was left of the HG Lift Serum that was placed on my face during treatment to be applied to the treatment area and help soothe and hydrate the skin. The redness that I had on my face calmed down and went away within hours and I was instructed to not put anything else on the skin besides the HG Lift Serum for at least 24 hours. The next morning, my skin was glowing and I was in love with this new treatment Couture Med Spa is now offering.
