Introducing EMSCULPT

Where can you use EMSCULPT and what does it do?

EMSCULPT induces powerful muscle contractions that improve muscle tone and strength of the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and calves.  It can also improve the tone and firmness of the muscles in your arms. 

What are some of the side effects? 

When you start EMSCULPT treatments, you may experience some muscle discomfort, temporary spasm, temporary joint pain, localized redness, and swelling. These symptoms are transient and resolve on their own soon after the treatment.

How does EMSCULPT work?

EMSCULPT induces powerful muscle contractions that cannot be achieved voluntarily. These muscle contractions create excessive demand for energy which results in a decrease in fat. 

Are there any other benefits to EMSCULPT?

EMSCULPT is also known to increase muscle thickness, reduce abdominal fat, reduce early-onset diastasis recti, reduce waist circumference, and add volume to the gluteal muscles.

Who may not be a candidate for EMSCULPT?

Those with pacemakers are not able to use EMSCULPT in the vicinity of the device. Anyone with electronic implants, pulmonary insufficiency, drug pumps, malignant tumors, or who have impaired or injured muscles or are febrile are NOT candidates for EMSCULPT treatments.  Caution should be used with suspected or diagnosed heart problems, epilepsy, acute trauma or fracture, recent surgery, menstruation, or areas with limited sensation. 

Do you have any personal experience with EMSCULPT?

I have personally struggled with unwanted fat on the back of my arms. It has always been a stubborn area for me and no matter how much I work out and diet, I am still not happy with how they look. 

When I tried the EMSCULPT treatment, I was very excited to try and target this area. I came in for my appointment and filled out my consent forms to confirm that I have no implanted metal devices and I am not pregnant or breastfeeding since these may contradict the treatment. 

I then had some photos taken before the treatment to track the progress and I cannot wait to see the before and after photos. After being taken to the treatment room, I removed all my jewelry and the applicators were placed on the back of both of my arms and secured with a velcro strap. 

The intensity started off very low to assess my tolerance and it felt like a mild vibration, so I was able to achieve the full intensity immediately with no pain at all. It felt slightly strange at first, but you get used to it quickly. The treatment alternated between a vibrating sensation which felt like mild muscle contraction and would intermittently switch to a light tapping which is the lactic acid flushing phase. The treatment was only 20 minutes and very tolerable in terms of comfort. 

After the treatment was complete, I did not have any residual discomfort or soreness. Several weeks later I did another treatment and the second treatment I went straight to the highest intensity and tolerated the entire treatment with no residual discomfort. I saw a noticeable difference after the second treatment! I am excited to continue the recommended 4-6 treatments for optimal results, but I am super happy after the first two! Overall, I would say my treatments so far have been quick, comfortable, and effective. You cannot beat that!
